We’ve partnered with Where Food Comes From, a trusted third party organization in food verification, to help us educate consumers on the standards that we hold ourselves, our farms, and our products to. This includes Non-GMO Project Verified, Validus Environmental Review and Validus Animal Welfare Review.
Validus Environmental Review Certified
At The a2 Milk Company™, taking care of our environment is just as important to us as the care we put into taking care of our cows. Through the Validus Certified Environmental Review program, all a2 Milk® farms in the USA undergo strict assessments and reviews on an annual basis to maintain that our farming practices meet or exceed quality standards. We are committed to sustainability: from nutrient management and water use in livestock and production areas. We’re working towards a brighter future for dairy farming. Non-GMO Project Verified
Our a2 Milk® Grassfed products are Non-GMO project verified because we believe everyone has a right to know what is in their food, and to feel good about consuming it. Animal Welfare Review Certification
All our farms that produce a2 Milk® are certified by Validus, a leading independent animal welfare auditor. This means that our farms and manufacturing plants undergo detailed assessments and yearly audits of on-farm practices to ensure the humane treatment of our cows. The Validus Animal Welfare Program ensures that farmers are following animal welfare standards not just at the farm level, but all the way through to the processing facilities. Just like we take pride in the high quality of our a2 Milk®, we practice top-notch animal care and hold our farming partners to the highest standards.
